The shop is now fully functional.
It took some time to formulate it properly, while making sure that it includes not only custom commission but also the webshop purchases and what is important in that regard .

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!)
the site down quite a bit.

Thank you very much! The customization has taken quite some time, so I’m happy it has been worth the effort 😀 I do strive to improve where I can.
I don’t mind at all! I’m using Zerif Lite as it offers what I need in a theme. It’s available through WordPress under themes.
I’ll very likely upgrade to premium when possible as it gives me access to change every colour I want.The downside for this theme is for me so far the testimony at the front page where I can’t do anything about the – in my eyes – ugly olive that can’t be changed unless one pays.
I haven’t had problems with slow downs of the site while having it activated.
For my ‘about the artist’, portfolio and contact I use a plugin called Huge-IT Portfolio.There’s both a free and pro version, however I decided to pay their one time license (it’s not that expensive) and I haven’t regret it. It offers the two kinds of looks I have used – and that’s only some of them! It’s easy to use as well. The developers have created some really nice videos of how all them looks and functions.
