My name is Sophia, I’m 30-years-old and I live in Denmark. I live on the countryside together with my husband in a small apartment.
I’ve a bachelor degree within information, culture and communication in relation to social media, commercials, library and museums. Right now I’m looking for a job within the field, however it’s easier said than done. In the meantime I’m doing a little freelance work when I can – and I would love to do much more of this kind of work in the future. I got several ideas I want to make a reality but as it is now it’s not possible financially.
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil at the age of 3.
My grandfather and mother has been a great source of support and inspiration to keep developing my skills. My mom is an art teacher and has taught me a lot about colour theory and similar things, while I later was at a teacher school myself where I had art classes and then later having visual communication at the university. At the same time I’ve been through short work experiences where I among several other places were at a marketing firm where I did website layout, banners, Marquees, web commercials and more.
My artist name has been Hoshi-Hana since 2005 so it have had 10-year anniversary.
It origin back to the Japanese words: Hoshi for Star and Hana for Flower.
So it is translated into Star-Flower.
